Fashion Merges with Cool iPod Touch Accessories

I was at a major electronics chain the other day and I could not believe in the amount of cool iPod touch accessories available. It really seems that electronic stores are tapping into the youth market with what amounts to fashion accessories to the kids. Items of clothing you wouldn’t have thought belonged in an electronics store were plastered all over the place. I’m talking about hoodies, jackets, shirts, all labeled with iPod pockets were displayed. And given the area the items took on the store floor, the accessories must be profitable for them. When you’re trying to ride the wave of Apple, you maximise your display space.
When technology merges with fashion, the markets become symbiotic. Since this has happened, I don’t see the demand for iPods or their accessories diminishing.

The Railroad Lanterns

I had a dream that I was walking through an old railroad station the other night. It looked like a scene from out of a movie. It was a dark night and there were very few lights. Fog was rolling in as I walked across the empty yard.
Up ahead, I could see two lights, one red, the other green. As I approached, the lights became clearer and I could see that they were actually lanterns swinging from side to side. I continued on and when I was within ten feet or so I recognized the plump middle aged lady who was swinging the lanterns. She was the woman who was running the estate sale I had visited earlier in the day. She wanted to sell me the collectible railroad lanterns for one hundred dollars each.
