I was told if you repeatedly cut a scar open and let it bleed clean that eventually the scar will fade. As disgustingly as that sounds it worked pretty well on some old bike fall scars I had on my elbow. So I tried it on one the smaller acne scars I had on my shoulder, and boy did it bleed, and only scar worse. Apparently acne scars aren’t like regular scars for the most part. The scar is usually more part of the wound well attached to the live tissue around it. Often these scars will grow on their own. The best acne scar removal treatment that I’ve found is the newer laser treatments. Apparently they usually only feel like a sunburn afterwards for a couple of days.
