Cashmere Cardigan for Girls

Although you may not think it is necessary, a cashmere cardigan for your little girl may be just the thing for the winter.  Little children tend to think of wool as something very confining and not comfortable.  My kids tend to rip off their wool sweaters as soon as they get home or as soon as they feel slightly hot.  They just really do not like wearing them, even if I buy the fun ones with their favorite cartoon characters.  So, my solution was to try giving them one cashmere cardigan.

I found mine at Macy’s.  While it wasn’t cheap, it was still under $100 after all of the coupons they have.  When I brought it home to my little girl, she was surprised that there was no character on it and it was not decorated with little butterflies or flowers.  Instead it was rather plain, just a lavender cashmere cardigan.  She was hesitant because it looked like her other wool sweaters that she hated so much.  However, the instant she put it on, she loved it.  The cashmere was so soft to the touch.  She touched her sleeves and her tummy and just kept running her hands across the sweater.  It didn’t feel itchy or uncomfortable.  Surprisingly, even though she got hot during the day, she never took it off because she liked it that much.  So, consider buying a cashmere cardigan for your little girl – it may be your best clothing decision yet.
