Posted by GuestPoster in Business & Internet Marketing on February 23rd, 2010
A lot of people are looking for different ways to make money Google style. When we talk about Google, the first thing you probably think of search engine results. It is the top search engine provider out there and it’s used by millions, sometimes billions, of internet surfers each day. Google offers individuals the opportunity to make money through their advertising program, Google AdSense. How exactly does the Google AdSense program work? This article will cover the basics so you know where to get started.
Earn advertising revenue
What Google AdSense will do is browse your individual or business web site. They will search for content on the site that is related to a few of their advertisers. Since so many businesses participate in their pay-per-click program, Google has to look for other ways to display their ads without overtaking the entire search engine results page. This is why the AdSense program has become so successful because it allows businesses to be paired with content-driven sites.
How do I earn money?
In order to actually make money, you need to devote time to your web site. You need to build a quality web site and start gaining followers. Start by submitting website to Google so they know you actually have a web site. To boost your rankings, you need to worry about the content on your web site along with the number of backlinks you have on the site. The more sites you have that feed into yours, the more points you will get and Google will reward you with higher rankings.
How can I boost rankings?
Besides focusing on writing quality content and posting it on other sites, you can gain higher rankings by participating in a pay-per-click program. This will increase your web site traffic as people do a search for certain keywords and terms. Don’t limit yourself to just Google, there are several other pay-per-click networks out there they can provide you with great results in a short amount of time.

There are several people that make decent livings online by building quality web sites and devoting enough time to their site each day. You can learn to make money online by using Google AdWords and other programs that will boost your web site traffic and strengthen your web site.
In order to boost your web site rankings, you need to create a quality web site that is content-driven. This means you need to post relevant and quality information almost daily. As you remain active on your blog or web site, people will start to follow your web site and boost your rankings. Once you gain followers, you will need to start the Google AdWords program to draw in even more followers. In order to make money off the campaign, you need to have a quality landing page that motivates your employees to actually do something. This can motivate them to buy a product you sell or to click on one of the advertisements on your web site.
You can make money google style by using their other program, Google AdSense. AdSense will allow you to place advertisements on your site and you will be paid for the click-thru ratio. The more people click on the ads, the more money you will be able to make. Of course in order to get people to click on the ads you must focus on building quality content and then giving people a reason to click on the ads. Are you creating articles that offer advice and tips for your followers?
Sharing a strong opinion on a web site needs to offer some type of value to your audience. What can you offer them? Do you have factual evidence to support some of your claims? As you start to work hard at posting relevant content, you will find that you will spend a good 10 hours a week working on your blog or web site.
Is Submitting Website to Google a Good Idea?
Posted by GuestPoster in Business & Internet Marketing on February 17th, 2010
Most of us wouldn’t mind putting a little extra money in our (metaphorical) pockets. But how are we supposed to make that money? Just sitting around?
Well, not exactly. But if you’ve got a good website, you can learn to make money online. It’s probably not going to get you enough money to quit your job (unless your website is just fantastic,) but it can make a nice bonus to get a weekly check in the mail. Here are a few ways you can make a little extra cash from our friends at Google, Inc.:
For those of you who have an online business of some sort – any website that’s designed to get money from viewers – your site’s traffic can be increased by getting your page to show up on search engine result pages. Google offers a fast, easy way to submit your website to them, so they can get your site up for you. Unfortunately, this is not the fastest way to get your site listed with their results. Google has been known to take a long time to get this done, and by the time your site is posted, it still may not be noticeable, simply because it’s listed so low.
The best way to get your page onto the Google search engine is deceptively simple: have a great website. The more useful your site is, the more likely other people are to post links to your site – links that the Google web crawler will follow and use to index your site. These links also boost your rank in the results, so that you’ll be higher in the postings.
AdWords and AdSense
Both the AdWords and AdSense programs are offered by Google for people who want to be involved in advertising. AdWords allows users to let Google do advertising for them, while AdSense essentially rents out space on a web page for Google to use as advertising space. Both of these can earn you money in the long run.
Can I Make Money Online?
Posted by GuestPoster in Business & Internet Marketing on February 5th, 2010
Of course you can’t make money online! What’s wrong with you? Did Amazon.com ever make money online? Did Overstock.com ever make money online? Has anyone ever made money on eBay? Or –
Oh, wait. All of those sites make money. Maybe you can make money online. In fact, maybe it’s relatively common. But surely my cooking blog doesn’t count, right? I mean, who would really pay me money to read about the spatula I accidentally melted in the oven? And it’s not like I’m being paid for every recipe I post. Why would anyone pay for my failed avocado cream pie attempt?
Fortunately, I know how to make money with Google. No, I’m not selling them recipes or spatulas or avocado cream pies. Somehow, I doubt that Google would want them. What I’m selling them is advertising space.
You see, those side bars on my blog hold invaluable empty space – space that can be used to sell someone else’s products or services. And Google allows me the chance to earn money every time one of my foodies clicks on an advertisement for a new, melt-proof spatula.
Here’s how it works: Google has clients who pay them for advertising. Every time that ad gets a click or appears on a web page, Google gets paid for it. The advertisers are happy to pay for the publicity, because it increases their sales revenues. Google is more than happy to oblige, since it doesn’t cost them anything to put the advertisement on the side of their page.
But if Google can put the ad on the side of my page, that means the ad gets more traffic. More traffic means more clicks, and more clicks means Google gets more money from their advertisers. So, Google is more than willing to give me a small cut of the profits in exchange for my cooking blog’s cooperation. So even if my pie was a little greenish, I could still make a little money off of the blog post.

Lost in Manufacturing

Shopping malls are closing all over the country. Business is really being affected by the lack of ability to generate revenue or secure credit to purchase inventory in bulk at a cheaper or discount rate for resale rights. The lack of purchase power has been felt severely by the manufacturing sector and for states like Wisconsin and Michigan. One key indicator is the lack of employers willing to hire and the lack of orders causing several small manufactures to file bankruptcy in Michigan. One of the large problems several manufactures face is the automatic classification the general public and government thinks about when discussing manufacturing. The general public thinks about the automotive industry when talking about manufacturing and little is done to help the manufacturing creating office supplies or for manufactures who create shingles for a roof.
Are you a MLM Expert?

If not, you need to become one in order to reach your full potential in multi-level marketing. This isn’t some sort of riddle, but just some simple marketing advice to help you reach your goals.
In today’s home based business market, there are thousands of business opportunities. So much so that most people can’t tell the difference between them all. If you have spent any time around MLM you know this is the case. The only difference is what kind of soap, music, flowers, magnets or stuff you’re selling. That is where people step into the picture.
If you want to have a great source of MLM leads that come to you, position yourself as an expert in your field. Start a blog and post daily. Start commenting on other blogs, and with intelligent points about the conversation. See if you can’t get a few articles published in MLM or home business magazines. The best MLM leads sources are the ones that come to you, not vice versa!
Plenty of people want to make money from home, but don’t know what company to buy from. When you become an expert, they will trust and want to buy into your company. Good luck!
Search Engine Marketing

Did you know that there’s a lot more involved with search engine marketing then just spending money through online advertising? Sure Websites like Google and Yahoo are a great way to advertise at a fairly reasonable price, but did you know they’re also a great way to create web pages and offer free information products without costing you a penny.
However, in order to take advantage of this free tool, you need to have a great landing page. If you don’t, your potential customers will run the other way. Think about it. How would you feel if you visited a website where you couldn’t find anything or it took several minutes to load? You’d probably move on because you don’t have time to waste on a site like that, right?
Once you’ve perfected a great landing page, you can link to that page using Squidoo, Twitter and other social networking sites. Soon you’ll be seeing your business on Google and Yahoo with just the click of a link.
With search engine marketing and today’s online technology you can get your business noticed without spending a dime and that’s music to almost every entrepreneur’s ears.
No Investment Online Business Ideas
Posted by whaleadmin in Business & Internet Marketing on June 6th, 2009
We all know how hard it is to round up some cash just to start a new business. More and more people are finding it hard to stay afloat with the rise of the cost of living. Everywhere you turn prices are skyrocketing and we’re lucky enough to even get food on the table. Even worse is the fact that not everyone is lucky enough to have a job at the moment.
But, whether you have a job or not, makes no difference. You still need to eat, pay the rent and any other bills that are a necessity. Life must go on and sometimes it’s even more necessary to have some extra income coming in. Fortunately, you don’t need to spend a dime if you don’t want to. Here’s how:
You can sell something on eBay. If you have leftover fabrics, crafts, or jewelry pieces, use them to create interior decorations, purses, clothing and more. Anything goes when it comes to items you no longer use in your home or garage. If you’re not artistic enough, why not consider selling your friends or family’s talents for a small fee.
If you don’t already have the internet at home, see if you can go to a friend’s house to borrow theirs or head to your local library. Spending an hour or two a day on someone else’s computer is better than not being able to spend it online at all. Just be sure to use that time wisely and don’t get sidetracked with email or games.
If you don’t have a product you’d like to sell, you can always sell someone else’s product through affiliate programs. All you need to do is provide a link to their website from your blog or webpage to get started. When someone visits that link from your blog or webpage, you are credited for his or her visit and/or purchase.
Network marketing is another simple and very small investment way to make money. With network marketing you make money on your sales as well as your marketing distributor’s sales and those under him or her. The process is also known as multi-level marketing.
Products are not the only ideas that make a great business, however. Information does too. If you have knowledge of something useful, why not share it with the world for a fee. If you don’t want to sell your own knowledge, you can sell others like the Magnetic Sponsoring affiliate program.
Business Opportunities For A New Reality

“Times they are a changing.” Boy is that statement from an old folk song true today. It seems like our whole world has been turned up side down and there doesn’t appear to be an silver lining to the clouds.
When I was younger the current wisdom was to get a job with a big company. Work your way up the ladder and then retire to a life of leisure. Most of the baby boomers bought into this way of thinking and now they are asking what happened. First pensions were removed so we were forced to save for our own retirement by putting money in 401k’s. (read stock market). Then right when things looked good, the corrupt wall street banks and insider trading wiped our accounts out. Oh those guys got super rich, that is what the last administration was all about, but the people who really worked to build the economy were left high and dry.
Now we are forced to start again with a new business opps idea and see where it takes us. I jsut turned 50 and I know the only way I will retire is to build my own money making enterprise.
