Go kart racing is regulated by the same body which oversees Formula One racing. A lot of people don’t even realize there is professional go kart racing, but there sure is. In no way is it just a kid’s sport. If you want to make a career out of it, it is certainly possible though obviously very competitive. That is because there isn’t a ton of money so only a small amount of drivers can really be supported through racing go karts. Nevertheless, I just thought I would mention that for any aspiring motor sports racers out there. But in a realistic sense it is totally available for having fun on the weekends. They can be very fairly cheap as a matter of fact. That is all well and good but when you put the pedal to the metal you better be ready to race with your heart’s content. That is the way we do it where I am from.
