If you have problems with removing blackheads on your nose, there is a very good explanation for this. Your nose falls into an area known as the “t-zone”, which also consists of the forehead and chin. The t-zone tends to be the oiliest area of the face.
There is no miracle cleanser that will permanently get rid of the blackheads, but you can take steps to prevent them.
Step #1: Use Moist Heat
Moist heat is an easy way to open your pores. This is especially important since blackheads are caused by oil and dead skin cells plugging up the pores. Facial steaming is one way to use moist heat, and is also great for deep cleaning. You can also get the job done by placing a warm washcloth over your face.
Step #2: Cleanse and Exfoliate
Exfoliation will get rid of the top layer of dead skin cells, while cleansing will get rid of oil and debris deep down into the pores. When exfoliating, do so in a gentle, circular fashion. Be careful not to choose any harsh scrubs that will scratch or irritate the skin.
When cleansing the skin, find products that are made for oily skin, non-comedogenic, and alcohol free. You will want to avoid any product that will dry out the skin and/or exacerbate your existing acne condition.
Step #3: Use Pore Strips
Using pore strips can be a double-edged sword if not used correctly. If you’re not cleansing and exfoliating properly, any blackheads you strip away is guaranteed to return. If used properly, pore strips can be a powerful tool in your blackhead fighting arsenal. To use the strips successfully, follow the manufacturers instructions carefully, and be gentle.
Getting rid of blackheads on the nose permanently is no easy task, but with patience and persistent care, you will be blackhead free in no time.
