One of the alternatives to the dustbowls or mud traps that may be besieging what should be backyard lawns these days is synthetic grass. For many though, synthetic grass is a pale imitation of the real stuff that merely gives a semblance of green to catch the eye.
Artificial grass has its place in the landscaping market particularly for providing a hard wearing, safe surface for children to play on and for pets to romp on.
Synthetic grass does not require the water or the maintenance time and effort required by the real stuff. It can cover the ground in places where it is impossible to grow grass and it always gives you a mud-free surface when in the past it may have been impossible to actually get onto the grass due to the treacherous footing.
