First Basketball Court
Posted by whaleadmin in Personal Improvement on June 11th, 2009
When I was nine years old and my dad put up a basketball rim for my younger brother and me. We were both so excited to be able to play basketball in our very own backyard. That first evening, we played all night until bedtime, the backyard illuminated only by a small 100 watt outdoor light 30 feet away. But it was fantastically fun and at the end, exhausted and unable to stop sweating, our mother called us in to take our baths and we went to sleep as soon as our heads hit our pillows. Over the next 10 years, my brother and I would have epic one-on-one contests almost every day. Even now, 20 years later, each with our own families, we still play on that rim and court whenever we’re at our parent’s home at the same time.
Do heroin addicts really start out using hydrocodone?
Posted by whaleadmin in Uncategorized on June 11th, 2009
I will bet that a lot of people do not know that many heroin addicts got started using hydrocodone.
That’s right they started off using hydrocodone and graduated to become heroin addicts. This is partly because they were no longer getting the desired effect from the pills they were taking.
They may have decided that it just was not worth it to take boat loads of pills when they could get loaded with a small bag.
Enough about that lets talk about getting some help for heroin addicts. One tried and proven method is the Narcotics Anonymous program.
This program is available to addict’s world wide. I have even heard of meetings being held in the jungles of Africa. “Imagine that.” Why not start today it works!
