Storing gold bullion at home is one option for keeping your investment safe… in a safe. Probably for most people, a 30 minute safe is enough. Any 30-minute safe is going to take a decent blast to open. The intruders have to risk a lot using an explosive, and if they don’t know what they are doing they might well blow themselves up instead of the safe. Another risk for them is that they might render the safe inoperable. Safes have strike plates that break if one attempts to drill them and a good blast would probably break the striker plate.
