The Railroad Lanterns
Posted by whaleadmin in Collecting on July 24th, 2009
I had a dream that I was walking through an old railroad station the other night. It looked like a scene from out of a movie. It was a dark night and there were very few lights. Fog was rolling in as I walked across the empty yard.
Up ahead, I could see two lights, one red, the other green. As I approached, the lights became clearer and I could see that they were actually lanterns swinging from side to side. I continued on and when I was within ten feet or so I recognized the plump middle aged lady who was swinging the lanterns. She was the woman who was running the estate sale I had visited earlier in the day. She wanted to sell me the collectible railroad lanterns for one hundred dollars each.
I woke up and sat in my bed. I realized at that point that I really need to get some hobbies besides going to estate sales and yard sales. You can read more about items like these at Second Hand Sale Online.
