People assume that car insurance is the same no matter which company they go with. This assumption is wrong. This is because different insurers place use different research methodologies and place different emphasis on different factors when deciding what to quote you. They all have their different algorithims for working out how much of a risk you are to insure – the riskier the insurance company thinks you are, the more expensive your premium will be.

So shop around, and I bet you’ll get quite a shock (a pleasant one) when you recieve some cheap car insurance quotes, compared to what you are currently paying.
