Should You Drink Alcohol While On A Weight Loss Cleanse Program?
Posted by GuestPoster in Health & Fitness on September 21st, 2010
The main agenda or concept behind any colon cleansing program is to give your body time to heal and rest from the toxins that have accumulated over time. This means you should not have processes foods, weight loss supplements, sugar or even dairy products. They are bound to irritate your bowel into causing bloating, flatulence and constipation. You should give your body a rest from these foods and it will be able to function better after the weight loss cleanse program.
When you decide to drink alcohol during the cleansing period, it results into a slower process. However, there are no other adverse effects. There are many types of colon cleansers in the market from those that you take 2 days to the 10 day programs. They each involve different degrees of fasting. Once you go through colon cleansing, your body is able to absorb nutrients faster. It is recommended to drink a lot of water while in the cleansing program. You are not limited to distilled water alone; you can have herbal teas, lemonade and salted water. It is not wise to add alcohol into your diet because it is counter productive. Alcohol drinking is brought about by cravings of the body. You can choose to over come your cravings by concentrating on the colon cleansing program. You should have fruits, vegetables and brown rice during this period for the fiber. This helps make the bowel movement regular and easy.
Chances are if you fill your body with healthy foods and a lot of water, you will be able to handle the craving for alcohol. There are two types of alcohol and you should keep this in mind. Red wine is good alcohol because it has anti-oxidants that help your body heal. You should stay away from beer and other alcoholic beverages made with syrup because they will be counter productive to the weight loss cleanse program.

Rapid tips for a better diet
Posted by whaleadmin in Health & Fitness on September 27th, 2009
Rapid weight loss can only be achieved if you follow a good and balanced diet, exercise for 30 minutes per day and be careful about the details. The details include small things that you should be aware off when you want to lose weight fast. Some of the rapid weight loss tips are explained below:
1. Protein can help you lose weight. When you include protein as part of your meals then this will help you stay filled up for longer time and thus eat less during your meals. Protein food are more efficient than foods rich in carbohydrates or fat when it comes to keeping you full. If you do not eat protein with your meals then you will get hungry faster and either you will be looking for snacks or you end up eating more calories in your main meals. Foods that are rich in protein are yogurt, cheese, lean meat, nuts and black beans.
2. Spicy food is good for your weight loss. If you like spicy food then you have another reason to eat it. Spicy food can help your weight loss efforts. Spices can not only make a low calorie meal more tasty but they also assist you in eating less calories. With spicy your body will need more water and more water means less space in your stomach for calories.
3. Watch out the calories you eat or better drink from liquid form. For example if you drink your coffee with sugar and full fat milk then this adds a lot of calories in your diet that probably did not account for. So, avoid full fat milk from your drink and go for low fat milk and no sugar. When you get used to black coffee the taste is as good as milk coffee. Also, if you drink regular soft drinks try to remove them from your diet and replace them with light soft drinks (1 light drink max per day).
Liposuction Prices and The Cost of a Cup of Coffee

Cosmetic surgery has never been cheap. Anytime you need to use the services of a doctor or medical professional, you can be assured that this will not be free or an inexpensive endeavor. It is possible to get financing for liposuction treatments, also called medical loans. However, because this is cosmetic surgery – and not being done for any life saving reason – securing such a loan can be a challenge.
But here’s a different way to look at it:
In the USA, many people spend up to $4 everyday for their coffee drink of choice. If you drink coffee everyday like this, that’s over $1,500 you’re spending in a year.
And guess what? Many body areas start at $1,500 for liposuction.
When put in this regard, one could forgo the expensive, take out coffee ritual in its place, have a slimmer physique. This makes the cost of liposuction or other cosmetic surgery seem a bit more in reach for those who were considering taking out a loan to pay for such a thing!
The Zero Calories Foods Myth
Posted by whaleadmin in Health & Fitness on September 11th, 2009
I believe it is impossible to eat something that has zero calories. Only water has zero calories. But zero calories chocolate, juices, chips and other junk foods are impossible in my mind. They still have to contain just a few sneaky calories that aren’t advertised.
For example take the zero calorie soft drinks. They claim their beverages contain zero calories because they don’t contain any sugar in them. But they are still sweet. They use artificial sweeteners which have been proven to be even more noxious and fattening than sugar. Artificial sweeteners aren’t found in nature and your body doesn’t really know what to do with them. They clog up your system, slow down your metabolism and make you fatter. You might say that artificial sweeteners contain even more calories considering all the bad side effect they have.
Any to weight loss solutions that say that you can consume as much as you please zero calorie industrialized foods are probably a lie and you should stay away from them. You have been warned.
Shopping for a cheap used treadmill
Posted by whaleadmin in Health & Fitness on August 16th, 2009
Are you considering buying a treadmill? You don’t have to fork over hundreds or thousands of dollars: think used. In the current economy, many people would rather have a little more cash than an expensive clothes rack, and will part with their machines at a fraction of the original cost.
If you are going to buy a cheap used treadmill, however, make sure you check the machine out thoroughly first. You don’t want to end up paying for someone else’s problems. Here are a few quick tips on what to look for.
Look the treadmill over for broken parts and signs of wear. Is the belt still in good shape? Are there loose or missing screws? Are the handrails stable, or do they wobble a bit when you grip them? These could be signs of poor build quality or rough treatment by the current owner.
Try the console functions to make sure they all work properly. Check the LCD or LED screen to make sure it is operating and readable. If the treadmill includes an emergency stop mechanism (a highly-recommended feature), test it, as well.
Finally, take the treadmill for a “test drive”. If possible, spend at least five minutes on the belt, checking to see how easily you can manipulate the controls. Pay particular attention to how easily and smoothly the belt operates. If it is a powered model, listen to the motor for signs of strain or uneven performance.
As you can see, most of these tips are simply common sense. If you take the time to do them, though, you will be able to buy with more confidence, and feel good about the money you saved.

Obesity is a problem for many people right now, and those individuals who want to change their habits and their body type have found that the best way of doing this is by eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. A number of different exercises help speed this process, and by changing the pattern and style of exercises they use, an individual can successfully lose their excess weight quickly and in a healthy way.
Fast weight loss exercises include cardiovascular exercise and weight training, generally in a regimented pattern. Two or more sessions of cardiovascular exercise is recommended, with an additional session per week for weight training, which enables the muscles to improve along with an individual’s stamina and ability to perform.
While they are not easy to start, fast weight loss exercises often become easier for the body over time. It is important to increase the level of intensity in workouts over time so that an individual’s body continues to rise to the challenge of excellent performance, and that individual continues to lose their extra, unwanted pounds over time.
This Weight Loss Story

It came to me one night that I was morbidly obese. I was looking at a document which was a about a man who weighed 800 pounds. I look at him and felt bad, I was never going to look like that. At that moment I decided to buy cheap diet pills online and get my eating in control. I did not start exercising because I was so heavy that I think I would have hurt myself doing that without proper guidance. I called my local gym and told them that this time it is necessary for me to lose 200 pounds in the next two years, and I mean it. I would do everything there is to do. The next day I saw my personal trainer Philippe who guided me through the whole process. He made my 200 pound weight loss project last fifteen months! That was much faster than I had expected.
